Additionally, PetEYE operates the comprehensive PetEYE Marketplace / Store across its app and website where users can purchase pet-related products, which involves processing necessary shipping and billing information. (Specifically, we use Firebase for Authentication and Analytics, Razorpay for tokenized payment processing, and Geolocation APIs for our Lost Pet feature). Where applicable and when actively facilitating verifiable pet placements through The Kennel Powered by PetEYE, we strictly require high-risk verification documents (such as utility bills, government IDs, and certified veterinary vaccination/lineage records) ONLY from breeders, shelters, private owners, and NGOs creating listings, while standard adopters/buyers are only subject to basic data collection.

We also collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.” We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

For payment processing, we utilize the services of RazorpaySoftware Private Limited (“Razorpay”). Neither KR PET EYE LLP nor Razorpay store your card data on their servers. Payment information is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) during payment processing. We retain your purchase transaction data for a minimum of 7 years as mandated by Indian financial and tax regulations. SECTION 12 – DATA RETENTION SCHEDULE

  • Financial & Billing Records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years as mandated by Indian financial and tax regulations, after which they are securely destroyed.
  • Marketing Data: Erased immediately upon your withdrawal of consent (unsubscribing).
  • Partner & Verification Documents (Government IDs, Utility Bills): Retained strictly in encrypted storage for the duration of the partner’s active verification and accreditation status. Upon account closure or deregistration, these identity documents are permanently purged within 90 days, retaining only a cryptographic proof of prior verification to satisfy legal and audit requirements.

Resolution Timeline: We acknowledge all grievances within 48 hours and strive to resolve them within 30 days of receipt.
